Closure of the dusk

Closure of the dusk

The dusk deepens into total obscurity,
obscure to everything but that memory.
Memory having given nothing but pain.
Pain exists to devour thus tranquility.

The dusk grows into bitter coldness,
too cold it smoothly smother the hope.
I hoped and yet I feared,
this fear pain(t)s life into madeness.

The dusk seeps into maturing dawn,
little it dawns on my life, in your eyes.
Those stony eyes- indissoluble to tears,
let it be torn this love your curtain remains drawn.

Running the thoughts, repeat continually that we are
for ever sundered: and yet,
while I breathe and think,
I must love you.

Here lies just another free-style work that I wrote while serving duty in camp. The words in italic are extracted from Jane Eyre. Its not that perfect or great but I always hope that the readers would be able to harness the emotions I felt(or imagined emotions) while completing the work. Still a long way to go, many more lessons to learn.
